Professor Hao Hejun went to Taiwan for nearly two months in 1997. He created 50 sketches on the spot, which caused a sensation both inside and outside the painting world. All 50 paintings were collected by Guangdong Art Museum and awarded by the Ministry of culture of China.

During the 20 years from 1998 to 2019, Hao Hejun created 67 Taiwan themed Chinese paintings, which were collected by collectors. This year, the Hong Kong Intellectual Property Exchange planned to launch a Chinese painting plate. From more than 100 outstanding painters, Hao Hejun's Taiwan themed traditional Chinese paintings were selected as the first project.

This contract contains 67 original Chinese paintings and 999 sets of limited signature prints. The total initial issue amount is HK $254.7 million. The minimum subscription quantity is 100 hands, 1 hand = 100 copies, 1 copy = 1 Hong Kong dollar. The number of more than 100 hands must be an integral multiple of 100 hands。

The contract period is five years. During the five-year period, limited prints can be freely exchanged. 67 original works will be auctioned by famous international auction institutions in the fifth year. The auction proceeds will be distributed according to the shares held.

Brief introduction to the author

Hao Xueren's name is crane king, and his Zhai name is huaifeng hall. He was born in Yuci County, Shanxi Province in 1938. In 1954, he was admitted to the middle and South American high school attached to Guangzhou Academy of fine arts. In 1962, he graduated from the Department of Chinese painting of Guangzhou Academy of fine arts. After graduation, he was assigned to work in Zhaoqing district. First, he worked as an art teacher in Guangning normal school, and then worked in the local cultural department to engage in mass art work. In 1987, he was transferred back to his alma mater, Guangzhou Academy of fine arts to teach in the Department of Chinese painting. He was a professor of Chinese painting and a tutor of master's degree.

In 1982, he and Lin Fengsu jointly held the exhibition of Lin Fengsu and Hao Hejun's paintings, 1990, 1992 and 1998 "Hao Hejun Taiwan sketch Exhibition" was held in 2008, and "beautiful rivers and mountains Hao Hejun painting exhibition" was held in Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts in 2008. Hao Hejun studied in Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts in his early years. He was taught by Guan Shanyue, Li Xiongcai and other masters. Hao Hejun's Taiwan works have been highly praised by mainland painters. When the exhibition was held at the Shenzhen Art Museum, the museum earnestly asked for the collection of Hao Hejun's Taiwan sketching works. Professor Hao thought again and again, but refused politely, and gave another painting of Taiwan scenery to the art museum.

The intense daily itinerary, the surprise of the unknown scenery, and the feeling of thousands of years of Chinese cultural history are all concentrated in 50 sketches. The predecessors have not done it, and it is very difficult for him to repeat it in the future. Therefore, Professor Hao regards the 50 Taiwan works as a living organism and a complete life. Professor Hao does not want it to be incomplete.

In 2017, when Guangdong Art Museum submitted the collection of "50 pieces of Hao Hejun's Taiwan sketching works" to the Ministry of culture of the people's Republic of China, and after the Ministry of culture's evaluation, Hao Hejun was awarded the "national art collection and donation Award", which was the only national award of Guangdong Art Museum in 2018, and held a painting exhibition and donation ceremony in Guangdong Art Museum.
