Recently, the office of the inter ministerial Joint Conference on the development of trade in services of the State Council issued five pilot experiences in deepening the innovative development of trade in services. Among them, the pilot experience of "financing mode of securitization of intellectual property rights" is planned to be replicated and promoted nationwide. At the same time, the second batch of 20 best practice cases has been compiled and distributed. Among them, Shanghai Caohejing Development Zone has deepened the construction of national intellectual property service industry cluster development demonstration zone, providing high-quality intellectual property services for the construction of science and technology innovation center, which is listed as an important part of the case of "promoting the establishment of global R & D center and open innovation platform" in Shanghai.

Deepening the pilot project of innovative development of service trade is an important deployment of the Party Central Committee and the State Council to promote the high-quality development of trade. Since the pilot project was launched in 2018, the State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO) has guided the pilot areas to explore and innovate in the field of intellectual property. In April this year, Suzhou has selected the first batch of best practice cases to build a full chain and ecological intellectual property operation service system.

In the next step, the Bureau will promote the implementation of pilot experience, promote the use of cases for reference, give full play to the supporting role of intellectual property rights, and promote the further innovation and development of service trade.
