On Computex 2021, Intel released two new members of the 11th generation core mobile processor, namely i7-1195g7 and i5-1155g7. These two new products belong to tiger lake-u series of low-voltage processors, which are both 4-core and 8-thread, and are manufactured by 10nm superfin process. Among them, i7-1195g7 belongs to the top product of the series, with the main frequency up to 5GHz. The i5-1155g7 single core can reach 4.5ghz. Both products support ddr4-3200 and lpddr4x-4266 memory, with built-in Intel Ruiju Xe display, up to 96eu. Processors have more improvements in performance and AI capability. At the same time, both new products support Intel Wi Fi 6 / 6e technology.

In addition, on Computex 2021, several Intel executives appeared to give a speech with the theme of "innovation unleaded", showing the new IDM 2.0 manufacturing OEM mode, 5g and open architecture, a number of new processors, etc. Among them, Steve long, vice president of sales business of Intel's client computing division, introduced in detail the progress and planning of the consumer processor platform that we are most concerned about. He mentioned that in addition to the above two new processors, by the end of this year, there will be more than 60 new laptops equipped with 11 generations of core U series, including Acer, ASUS, Lenovo, micro star, etc., and by the end of this year, there will be nearly 250 U series lightweight laptops.

In addition, regarding the 12 generations of core that everyone cares about, he said that the 12 generations of core alder Lake desktop version and alder Lake mobile version can now be turned on and run in good condition, and the samples are being sent to customers and partners in succession. Alder lake will integrate two new CPU core architectures, large and small, with high performance and high efficiency, as well as enhanced 10nm superfin manufacturing process, faster transistors and improved MIM capacitors.

In other words, the 12th generation of core is getting closer to us now. Intel has yet to disclose the specific launch time, but according to @ Moore's law is dead, Intel's 12th generation core "alder Lake" K-series processor is expected to be officially released during Halloween in 2021, that is, from October to November.

In addition, Intel is vigorously promoting the advanced process technology, the outside world has also revealed. Recently, an investment bank analyst disclosed the level of Intel 5nm process, saying that the transistor density is about 400mtr / mm2, which is 400 million transistors per square millimeter, almost four times of Intel 10nm process. If you want to compare with other manufacturers, experts point out that the transistor density of TSMC's 2nm process is 500 MTR / mm2, 500 million transistors per square millimeter, and the density gap between the two sides is only about 20%.
